Mediation

Mediation provides a safe and structured setting for individuals, companies, and organizations to discuss disputed issues and develop workable resolutions. As a neutral third party, I work to help people communicate the issues at stake, consider the impact that the conflict has had on them, help them assess the strengths and weaknesses of their positions, and explore options available for a satisfactory resolution. A mediator does not make a ruling or a decision – a mediator assists parties in weighing the advantages and disadvantages of settlement versus continued conflict.

Serving as a mediator is more than acting as the messenger in the middle of a negotiation. Mediation can help people see a conflict from a different perspective, consider options that they had not thought of on their own, and communicate their needs in ways that other parties and advocates can hear and address. A customized intake and interview process is used to make the best use of our time and resources. I look forward to working with you and assisting in the resolution of your conflict.
